Disinfection Cleaning Information

Precision Cleaning offers hospital grade disinfectant services for your home or business.  We only use electrostatic sprayers, the optimal technology used to completely cover surfaces with disinfectant.  The same technology employed by hospitals to help control the growth and spread of bacteria, viruses, and infectious diseases is now available for your home or office.

What is the difference between cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting?

Cleaning is the removal of debris such as organic and inorganic material (often called “soil”) from objects and surfaces. Sanitizing is the reduction, not killing, of organisms on a surface. Disinfecting will “kill” the microscopic organisms on a surface. The best and proven method of killing the COVID-19 virus is disinfecting.

What is the difference between misting, fogging, spray/wipe and electrostatic disinfecting?

Misters and fogging systems deliver very small droplets that passively deposit on surfaces based on the direction of spray and the effect of gravity, which may result in uneven coverage. Spray/wipe methods are also time consuming, labor intensive and provide the least consistent coverage.

Electrostatic sprayers deliver charged droplets that are actively attracted to surfaces, including the back sides and crevices of surfaces regardless of the direction of spray for complete wrap-around disinfection coverage. The charged particles don't stick to each other, which results in the disinfectant spreading out evenly to coat the target surface. The ionized disinfectant particles will not miss any hard-to-reach areas.

Precision Cleaning only uses electrostatic sprayers for our hospital grade disinfecting services as they provide optimal disinfectant coverage.

We only use disinfectants certified to be compliant with the EPA's Emerging Viral Pathogen Guidance for Antimicrobial pesticides and suitable for use against 2019-nCoV (COVID-19).

The product used to disinfect surfaces is just as important as the method used to apply it. Not every disinfectant is created equally.

We take pride is only using the the most advanced disinfecting solutions, designed to be used with electrostatic sprayers.

At Precision Cleaning, the primary disinfectant solution we use is:

  • EPA Registered to use against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)  and is listed on EPA list "N"

  • Kills COVID-19 within 10 minutes of contact

  • Safe for use on food surfaces

  • Kills over 120 organisms, including COVID-19

  • Approved for use in hospitals, educational facilities, food and beverage establishments, and more
